HR Assistant I (PART-TIME)

Employment type and Duration: 9-month initial contract with possibility of extension to 11 months

Schedule: Mondays, 4 hours/week shift. Earliest start is 7AM-11AM or could be 8AM-12PM.




1. Process transactions for multiple compliance programs related to I-9/E-Verify and work authorization file data integrity

2. Assist with new HR work authorization or compliance-related projects as needs arise

3. Verify data and perform data entry. Look for variances and discrepancies in data for correction.

4. Communicate to partners and employees on data findings and information

5. Demonstrate the highest degree of discretion and confidentiality


· Fluent verbal and written English language skills

· Working to obtain Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or 1+ years Amazon experience

· MS Office experience and ability to use MS Excel for reporting

· Proficient in data analysis tools and report development (e.g. Excel, Access, Tableau)

· Experience with computer operating and database management skills

· Ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee information and adhere to strict confidentiality standards

· Ability to appropriately prioritize work and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

· Highly detail oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills

· Exceptional communication and organizational skills

· Good interpersonal skills with ability to work well in a team environment

· Organized with a strong sense of accountability and sound personal judgment



· 2+ years’ experience in HR transactional processes

· Ability to quickly understand data models

· Prior work experience with PeopleSoft or other HRIS ERP human capital management software

· Customer service orientation with ability to serve multiple customers (candidates, hiring managers, recruiters, HR business partners)

· Able to track high volume activity with exceptional follow through and attention to detail

· Technical skills to manipulate and analyze data and present recommendations in a variety of formats

· Proven analytical capabilities, comfortable working with large amounts of data and in developing metrics and reporting vehicles

· Ability to spot issues and escalate to business partners, as appropriate

· Able to track high volume activity with exceptional follow through and attention to detail

· Problem solver, able to troubleshoot issues independently or escalate when necessary - sense of accountability and sound
