Glenmont Job Corps is a Federally funded education and training program focusing on employability skills and job placement for young adults, located just outside the beautiful city of Albany, NY. At Glenmont Job Corps Center, we support the Job Corps program’s mission to teach eligible young people the skills they need to become employable and independent and place them in meaningful jobs or further education.


Glenmont Job Corps is currently seeking a candidate to fill the role of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The ideal candidate would bring energy and enthusiasm to the overall Center, as well as a desire to be part of educating and empowering youth.


POSITION SUMMARY:


Responsible to provide preventative and emergency health services and wellness education to students. Evaluates, determines and recommends appropriate medical, mental health and dental services for student population. Ensures confidentiality of sensitive information and compliance with all HIPAA laws.


MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISION:


May supervise and manage Wellness staff. May serve as Acting Wellness Manager in Wellness Manager’s absence where allowed by State Law.
