To use radiology equipment to help provide a diagnosis for any ailments a patient is experiencing. In your role as a mobile radiographer, you travel to your patients, operate equipment, help adjust the patient’s body, support a high level of overall care, and move between medical facilities, private homes, and correctional institutions as necessary. You will be required to communicate daily with various staff members in the office as well as fellow technologists. You will also be required to communicate with various staff members of medical facilities, private care givers and possible family members. Once your images have been acquired, you will then be required to send those images to the appropriate Radiologist for interpretation.

Our business operates 24 / 7 / 365. You will be required to rotate holidays, take one weekday night call and rotate a Friday night call (approx. 1 every 4 weeks). Call is a condition of our business which makes it a condition of your job.

  • Performing diagnostic x-ray procedures
  • Prepare patient for x-ray
  • Perform all diagnostic x-rays
  • Disinfect x-ray equipment
  • Instruct patients regarding x-ray procedure/li
  • Interpret physician order for the diagnostic x-ray procedure
  • Preparing patients for radiologic procedures
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures
  • Validate all patient identification before performing any diagnostic x-ray procedure
  • Perform specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures
  • Organize and maintain x-ray supplies
  • Prepare patients for x-ray procedures in conjunction with SLP
  • Calibrate and maintain x-ray and radiation safety equipment
  • Prepare patients for radiographic examinations
  • Perform radiographic procedures for diagnostic interpretation in the x-ray department
  • Develop x-ray films utilizing standard procedures
  • Perform imaging procedures and produce high quality diagnostic imaging
  • Perform medical radiologic procedures using ionizing radiation
