Shipping And Receiving Associate
Pridestaff on behalf of a client is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk:
The ideal candidate would be responsible for:
- The smooth flow of received goods and supplies that a company uses in production.
- Record all pertinent information for every package received, including tracking information, dimensions, and weight.
- Incorrect or damaged shipments need to be returned by completing the necessary paperwork to verify the issue.
- Individuals would be responsible for the timely shipment of customer orders. Whether goods are inbound or outbound.
- Must be familiar with FedEx, Worldship software and international and domestic shipping.
Shipping and Receiving Clerk is required to:
- Maintain accurate records of all activity (electronically).
- Use handheld electronic devices to maintain and update databases regularly.
- Report defective materials.
- Keep up the work area and equipment, and ensure an adequate supply of shipping materials is available at all times.
The company ships large or bulky items, the added responsibility of operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and cherry picker, high reach forklifts may be part of the job.
