Job Description

Bookkeeper

Full Time – 35 Hours Per week

Purpose:

Work closely with the Director of Finance and Administration to provide efficient and professional assistance and support in the fiscal, personnel, facility and related systems of the agency. 

Fiscal

1.     Accounts Payable

2.     Cash Receipts

3.     Deliver fiscal reports / documents to funders as needed

4.     Assist the with the annual audit preparation

5.     Filing which includes but is not limited to paid vouchers, deposits; bank recs, other fiscal documents as needed

6.     Bank reconciliations

7.     Assist with monthly fiscal close

8.     Invoicing

9.     Accounts Receivable

10 Grants (Book and Log)

 

Property Management

1.     Facilities

M   Maintenance Supplies

Human Resources

1.     Personnel Files

2.     Job Descriptions

3.     Employee Evaluations

4.     Position Postings

5.     Policy Book 

6.     Employee Benefits

7.     Clerical Assistance

 

Administrative Office

      Assist with basic clerical duties as assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalence plus 2 years experience in bookkeeping.  Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft products.  Experience in Abila (MIP) a plus. Valid driver’s license, registered and insured vehicle required.  Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
