WE’RE HIRING! Loan Receptionist (Seasonal)

Please note that this is a seasonal, temporary position starting on or about May 31, 2020 and lasting through mid-August.

Job Description:

Highlights of this job include:

1. Welcomes members to the Credit Union by greeting them
2. Provides information to members by answering inquiries concerning Credit Union products and services; directing them to other staff when necessary
3. Ensures appropriate call distribution by routing telephone calls to proper employees
4. Assists members by processing payroll deduction changes, providing members with new and used vehicle information, and providing members with loan payment estimates
5. Ensures completeness of vehicle loan folders by filing title work

Work Schedule:

The work schedule of this position is Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, with the exception of Thursdays. Thursday hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm or 10:00am to 6:00pm.

Minimum Required Education:

This position requires a diploma from a public or accredited private high school. A high school equivalency diploma (GED) may be substituted for the required education.

Minimum Required Experience:

Customer service experience in financial services, retail sales, or a similar environment is preferred, but not required.

Additional Requirements:

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment credit check and criminal background check as a condition of employment.

This job requires the incumbent to frequently remain in a stationary position and requires the occasional moving about the office and occasional moving of items typically weighing 25 pounds or less. This job requires the occasional positioning of oneself to items near the floor for filing or retrieval of various items. The ability to communicate with others in person and by telephone is required. Must be able to operate a computer and keyboard and other machinery such as a calculator, copy machine, facsimile machine, and computer printer. Must be able to inspect and/or observe documents, computer screens, reports, and similar communication.
