A locally based Not-for-Profit organization serving a great cause for the Northern California region is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Chief Executive Officer. The Executive Assistant is responsible for managing complex calendars and schedules of multiple executive calendars, heavy memo and correspondence, oversee several executive Meeting coordination and minutes, preparation of presentations, reports and financial data.

Ideal candidates will possess excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across all levels, and extremely detailed and organized to provide heavy duty support to a C-level executive. Previous non-profit or government entity experience is highly desired. Our client provides excellent state of the art benefits and retirement package. Manage heavy executive calendars and scheduling multiple moving and changing appointments. Coordinate meetings; attend meetings, take notes, prepare draft agendas and meeting minutes; prepare meeting packets, arrange catering, meeting space, etc. Assist executive with day to day tasks such as screening calls into the C-suite and all incoming emails and correspondence. Perform complex and confidential administrative functions, i.e. developing and typing written correspondence such as memos, payment requests and other department forms and documents. Arrange detailed travel plans and itineraries. Prepare budget and expense reports. Manage ad-hoc projects as needed.

5 years' experience in the capacity of an Executive Assistant to C-Level Executives or Executive Director(s). Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred. Nonprofit organization experience a plus. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Outstanding organization and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks. Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills required (assessments will be provided). Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Computer savvy and proficient with MS Office including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Publisher.
