Insurance Agency seeking full time Sales Representative to join their team.
Position offers hourly pay + commission.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop leads
- Call potential customers to offer quotes
- Schedule appointments
- Market appropriate products and services
- Establish customer relationships and follow up as needed
- Work with Agent to establish and meet marketing goals
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to Agent
- Educate customers about insurance options
- Attend trade shows and marketing events
- Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success
Insurance Sales Representative – Newport News, VA
Qualifications:
- Sales experience (inside or outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing) preferred
- Current Property and Casualty insurance license or willingness to obtain prior to start date
- Successful track record of meeting sales goals and quotas
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Enthusiastic about the benefits of insurance and financial products
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Self-motivated
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Pride in accomplishing tasks accurately and timely
- Ability to make presentations to potential customers
- Experience in marketing
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
- Understanding of discretion and confidentiality
