Job Purpose of the AR Clerk:

The AR Clerk will perform data entry activities in the company ERP system supporting customer/vendor management and accounts receivables activities

Duties of the AR Clerk:

  • Create new customer/vendors based on forms received from several sources.
  • Receives/enters changes to information on customers/vendors.
  • Receive and post customer payments by recording cash, checks and credit card transactions as directed.
  • Timely processing of changes to Customer Credit Management settings.
  • Support AR Collection activities by maintaining applicable EDI information for EDI enabled customers.
  • Processes requests for credit memo and journal entries to AR, as needed.
  • Preparation of periodic AP reporting, as necessary.
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential. 

Qualifications of the AR Clerk:

  • High school diploma (minimum)
  • 1 year of AR experience or Pharmaceutical experience 
  • General math skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of other software packages (JDE, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft)
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
