Senior DevOps Engineer (Remote) job in Dallas at HumCap Recruiting

Our Client is a Dallas-based AI and Machine Learning startup, who is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer or SRE Engineer ensure effective technical operations in the following areas:

• Help mature Security Policies, Standards, Guidelines and Controls to ensure protection of the Client and the Client's customer data, and proactive risk management
• Monitoring and management of the Client's cloud and physical infrastructure solutions for optimal uptime, availability and scalability
• Collaborate with the Client's Development Team for architectural and code deployment solution improvements
• Oversee and act as technical escalation for customer support issues to help provide the best possible Support customer experience
• Ensure the Client has appropriate and cost effective IT solutions needed to deliver the Client's services
• Other solutions as needed

Qualifications & Experience
Our Client is seeking to hire a senior engineer or manager level resource for this position. Qualified candidates must be capable of developing new solutions and taking responsibility for maintaining applicable solutions, not just being a contributing member of a team.

• 8+ years of Linux administration experience including account management, configuration management
  • Relevant technologies: Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform, containerized solutions (Docker & Kubernetes - Azure Kubernetes Service/AKS, Helm charts) database (SQL, MySQL, Postgres), DNS, GitHub, Python, SSH, Monitoring/Nagios, syslog collection/analysis, and remote systems administration
• 3+ years Azure Cloud infrastructure working experience, including AD and IAM, DNS, VM creation and administration, containerized service deployment and administration, secure key management, and cloud-based networking and security solutions
• Intermediate to advanced networking experience including TCP/IP subnetting, routing and packet capture/analysis, firewalls, and VPN solutions (OpenVPN and WireGuard)
• Security administration, including reviewing penetration testing results and vulnerability scan reports, hardening and securing systems, patch management, and forensics analysis, MDM solutions for Apple and Windows

Must be US citizen living in the lower 48 with easy access to major airport.
