We are currently looking for an experienced Contract Analyst.


Position Description:

Duties include:

  • Prepare contract file documentation such as the IGE, Solicitation, SOW, D&Fs, Justifications, Acquisition Plan, etc.; finalize following input by CO.
  • Prepare evaluation criteria to include instructions, evaluation process, and templates.
  • Work with stakeholders to review and facilitate the approval process with OGC, Policy, Program, and Budget.
  • Conduct market research and document findings.
  • Research issues for the CO and offer well-supported recommendations and solutions.
  • Release solicitations and amendments approved by CO.
  • Correspond with vendors.
  • Assist with the administrative aspects for the evaluation panels.
  • Conduct review of change requests; recommend follow up actions; implement approved path forward.
  • Stay abreast of vendor correspondence to the CS/CO; recommend follow up actions; implement approved path forward.
  • Prepare modifications for the CS/CO.
  • Attend meetings and capture action items.
  • Work with PO/COR to identify and recommend paths forward; implement approved paths forward.
  • Conduct invoice review for CO’s approval.
  • Research issues for the CO and offer well-supported recommendations and solutions.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline; four (4) years of specialized experience plus a High School diploma is equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum five (5) years of related experience in contracts/grants management or a related field.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of federal contract experience.
  • Extensive experience researching contracting options and presenting solutions compliant with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • Extensive experience with post-award administration, in particular on large scale contracts and awarding task orders under IDIQ contracts.
  • Experience with pre-award contracting activities.
  • Experience in construction and A/E contracting.
  • Ability to understand and distinguish between regulatory difference throughout FAR.
  • Understanding of the roles and distinctions of the CO, COR and Contract Specialist.
  • Ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail.
  • Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.
