Controller Job for Industry Leading Organization

In this Controller position for this dynamic organization, you will be a key stakeholder of the senior management team, reporting directly to the chief executive. You'll play the vital role with responsibility over "day-to-day" financial operations and efficiency of the business. Type: Direct hire, full-time

Start: March 2022

Position Details:

• Lead and mentor a highly functional accounting team.

• Responsible for accuracy of final numbers in GL.

• Assist with preparation of financial statements.

• Assist with information gathering for tax preparations and provide underlying schedules to support tax returns.

• Manage banking relationship including daily reports, incoming and outgoing wire transfers, monitoring checking account balances, lines of credit and loans.

• Maintain human resources records.

Position Qualifications:

• Demonstrated accounting team leadership experience and skills.

• Extensive knowledge of GAAP accounting practices and procedures.

• Sage 50 (Peachtree) is a plus.

• Manufacturing industry is preferred, but not required.

• Knowledge of human resources.
