HUMAN RESOURCES Director (Full Time) is responsible for the day to day oversight of the FLACRA Human Resources Team, ensuring implementation of best practices for talent management, compliance, employee engagement, payroll and benefits management.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently develop and manage a full range of HR programs and HR staff
  • Implementing a recruiting campaign to attract and retain employees to ensure the highest quality care for the people we serve
  • Collaborate with Marketing Dept to maintain an vibrant online/social media presence to connect with potential candidates and recruiting centers of influence
  • Administers employee health and welfare plans and acts as a liaison between employees and benefit providers
  • Ensures plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and plan provisions are followed
  • Ensure maintenance of employee records, database detail and all HR systems for compliance with regulatory requirements on state and federal levels
  • Work with the VP of HR to implement the Agency mission, core values, policies/procedures and strategic plan
  • Oversee routine audits of payroll, benefits and other HR programs to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Engage in strategic conversations directed to employee development, progressive discipline and  corrective action
  • Train of HR Staff, ensuring cross training on key functions
  • Identify expense reduction and cost savings measures including, but not limited to benefits and recruitment
  • Assist with the implementation and tracking of performance management program
  • Provide monthly report to VP of HR summarizing HR metrics

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of HR Leadership experience in an healthcare environment required
  • Bachelor Degree required, Master Degree preferred
  • Valid NYS Drivers' License required
  • HR Certification preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of Human Resources Administration, Recruiting and Employee Development
  • Skilled at interviewing, candidate selection and employee orientation
  • Familiarity with NYS and Federal Labor Laws
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience utilizing an HRIS and Payroll system
  • Ability to solve complex problems and act quickly in emergency situations
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities and the ability to influence others
