The primary purpose of this position is to locate new customers. IDP is looking for a sales professional to sell our insurance software solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in; building a network of prospects, communication with prospects and leads, software sales and some experience in the insurance industry
- Develop and generate new sales revenue
- Establish a sales plan with senior management seeking to achieve sales goals
- Prospect new opportunities through research and networking with an emphasis on use of digital/electronic tools
- Manage account relationships seeking to expand support through consultative sales effort
- Support Marketing activities
- Maintain accurate information in the system
- Keep current with market conditions and business trends
· A Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent work experience
· Previous experience and responsibility for generating new business and/or lead generation
· Experience in software sales
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent time management skills
· Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
· Insurance experience is a plus
