Senior Accountant
SUMMARY:
Mid sized, SW Houston headquartered company seeks experienced Senior Accountant to $80K
DESCRIPTION:
Our friendly, family oriented client seeks an experienced and accomplished Senior Accountant with an eye for detail who has experience with and can meet the requirements of this role. Our client is growing and is looking to add a talented senior accountant to their established accounting team. This role will provide general ledger and reporting expertise in a down to earth environment where your efforts and hard work are rewarded.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA is a plus
- 5-10 years’ experience post-degree
- Excellent technology skills and ability to help administer our mid-market accounting software
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Experience with a multi-company entity with understanding of intercompany transactions
- Manage the accounting for our shared services company that provides overhead and marketing for all operating companies
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Financial statement preparation and analysis for each operating company on an accelerated close schedule
