Mechanical Engineer

The applications engineer is responsible for providing conceptual engineering, cost estimating, and proposal preparation for oil and gas equipment.  Equipment includes meter skids, provers, sampling and analytical systems, and related custom solutions for the midstream market.

§  Works with outside sales and customers to define product requirements, regulatory issues, and other technical matters.

§  Work with vendors and engineering to specify equipment required for each job.

§  Obtain quotes, prepare cost estimates, and create technical and commercial proposals.

§  Maintain knowledge of codes and standards applicable to the products in the market.

§  Interface with all operational departments within the company.

§  Maintain customer relationships; participate in client clarification meetings as required.

§  Duties must be performed consistently with the company mission and values and adhere to company policies and procedures.

§  Technical degree or an equivalent background with work experience.

§  Must be self-motivated and team oriented, capable of learning, managing time, priorities, and operating well under pressure with little supervision.


§  Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

§  Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

§  Minimal Domestic Travel may be requited.
