Job Description

Inside Sales Representative

 

Duties & Responsibilities

- Supports efforts that address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel. Evaluates customer’s needs and requirements to help identify how to best help the customer.  Assists Sales team with business cases to drive profit and value.

-Responsible for maintaining pricing history, data entry, and order building for each customer’s account.  

- Responsible for customer communications, conflict resolution and revenue. Coordinates product management service and material price quotes for new and existing customers. Negotiates customer pricing, service terms and requirements.

- Responds and reviews RFQ’s and prepares customer recommendations for their review. 

- Resolves scheduling, delivery and quality issues as required to meet customer needs and requirements. Creates and implements strategies to help improve customer efficiencies.

- Maintains understanding of company capabilities and services, and effectively communicates all offerings. Maintains knowledge of industry standards and best practices. Acts as information resource and respond to customer inquiries on logistics and material handling issues. Creates and implements pallet designs that meet customer requirements.

Educational & Experience

-Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or related field preferred

-Minimum of two (2) years of sales/account management experience
