Commitment Level:  40 hours per week, on-site,  40% travel

OVERVIEW
Serves as the initial contact for pilot applicants throughout the hiring process. Provides administrative and flight operational support to pilot candidates, trainees, along with the Pilot Hiring Department and Pilot Development Department staff. Participates in the development, implementation, and oversight of our pilot application, interview scheduling and hiring process.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides a high level of customer service to pilot applicants through greeting and assistance with interview paperwork and document review

Electronic maintenance of pilot applicant files through AirlineApps and SharePoint

Processes Hogan job fit assessment results and generates follow up correspondence

Creates and maintains weekly/monthly schedules for Pilot Hiring interviewers and pilot candidates

Daily prepares interview files for pilot candidates

Extends conditional job offers

Corresponds with pilot pool candidates regarding legal documents, new hire paperwork, PRIA forms, job offer letters, and drug screening

Enters government and flying documents for new hire pilots in the Pilot Records system

Compiles flight summaries for new hires and distributes to each fleet

Inputs bid award transfers in Manager’s Toolbox for all new hire and returning pilots

Prepares data reports on hiring statistics

Sets up business travel needs for candidates, new hires, and interviewers in the Pilot Hiring Department through the use of the Shares reservation system

Works with these groups to accommodate travel and scheduling issues during irregular operations

Organizes and maintains files for each candidate and new hire pilot

Prepares and distributes these files to appropriate departments on a weekly basis according to new hire roster

Maintains and orders office supplies

Supports all Career Path Program initiatives including a variety of data transfer and processing with external partners

Supports contractual and procedural updates for all Career Path Programs

Creates strong working relationships with external partners


REQUIRED

High school diploma, GED or education equivalent

Related field or equivalent work experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Organization, flexibility and ability to prioritize effectively

Superior customer service skills, outgoing and warm personality

Strong computer skills in MS Office – specifically MS Excel

Working knowledge of Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe, Pilot Records, CCS, Shares(travel reservation system), and Drug Abatement systems

Problem solving and decision making required in an ever changing work environment

Ability to work seamlessly with other Departments as new hires transition through the hiring process and training

Previous recruiting or hiring experience

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications

Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business

Flight Operations experience


Advanced MS Excel and/or data analytic skills
