Community Marketer, Psychiatry / Behavioral Health - New Adolescent Psychiatry Unit


Horizon Health has an excellent opportunity for a Community Marketer (known as the Community Education Manager) to work at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO -- close to IL and 33.3 miles from Cape Girardeau, 50 miles from Poplar Bluff and 2 and 1/2 hours from St. Louis.


 The Community Marketer will develop and implement a comprehensive marketing program for Missouri Delta's brand new 15-bed Inpatient Adolescent Psychiatry  Unit opening in December 2019.


The Community Education Manager, in conjunction with the Director of Behavioral Health, is responsible for the planning and implementation of a comprehensive community education program. He/she coordinates the referral development/sales process, develops and maintains accurate community education information and account management systems, as well as coordinating the unit’s internal and external communications program.

Job Requirements

The qualified candidate must be a self-directed professional with a minimum of 2-3 years of direct sales experience in healthcare. (Behavioral Health/Mental Health experience is preferred).
Bachelors Degree required

Proven ability to enhance utilization of hospital services is essential.
