Accounting & Administrative Specialist

Primary Duties:

  1. The Specialist is responsible for accounting and administration. The role is anticipated to be 50% accounting and 50% administrative 
  2. The position reports to the President of the Company. 
  3. Executing all accounting transactions, cash planning, customer credit limits, AP/AR, etc


Standard and Normal Bookkeeping / Accounting duties using SAP:

 Monthly Close:

1.      Reconcile bank accounts

2.      Post journal entries 

3.      Run Cost Center report and resolve any issues

4.      Reconcile all balance sheet accounts

5.      Prepare cash flow spreadsheet

b.      Post all payables in SAP and pay via Wells Fargo   

c.       Review, post, and pay expense reports    

d.      Post and deposit all cash receipts  

e.       Actively pursue AR collections (outstanding receivables) for payments

f.       Prepare monthly wire payments 

g.      Post spare parts and rentals and service and related payables 

h.      Post invoices from all vendors for parts

i.        Invoice customers for parts, service, and rentals

j.        Capital Project support (prepares PO’s to vendors, track project cash flow) including invoices to customers


Additional Duties:   

a.       Payroll administration

b.      IRA administration

c.       Insurances-Company and employee

d.      File and pay NC state taxes, federal taxes and others

e.       IT/Communications

f.       Building contracts 



Other Accounting and Administrative Duties:

  1. HR responsibilities for current employees and new employees
  2. Office infrastructure items and other tasks, as needed.
  3. Audit preparation


  • 3 -5 years experience in accounting
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Ability to interact with German parent company and large and small customers
