Job Requirements


·         Manage a team by training, delegating tasks, negotiating workloads, assessing the performance of team members.

·         Work closely with Payroll Coordinators to develop skills and resolve problems fully and quickly.

·         Issue invoices to customers and maintains records.

·         Contribute to the team’s successes by accomplishing payroll procedures with speed and accuracy.

·         Resolve billing discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.

·         Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping the information confidential. 

·         Support management and perform certain tasks in the absence of management.

·         Perform other tasks as required

The Lead Payroll Coordinator works in our corporate office communicating daily with customers, employees and other staff. Excellent customer and employee relations services are required. 

 

They must also:

 

·         Manage a team by training, delegating tasks, negotiating workloads, assessing the performance of team members.

·         Work closely with Payroll Coordinators to develop skills and resolve problems fully and quickly.

·         Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings and deductions.

·         Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.

·         Maintain payroll information by collecting, auditing, calculating, and entering data.

·         Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests from branch personnel.

·         Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.

·         Issue invoices to customers and maintains records.

·         Contribute to the team’s successes by accomplishing payroll procedures with speed and accuracy.

Qualifications and education requirements:

 

HS Diploma or above and relatable payroll experience. Bookkeeping experience a plus. Excellent communication and computer skills utilizing word, excel and other computer programs where required. Must demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, attention to details, and the ability to prioritize daily tasks. Must communicate with clients, candidates, and associates articulately and timely.

 

Understand and follow all EEOC, workers compensation, OSHA, and other safety rules of any kind or sort.
