Our Client is seeking a Technical Support Representative in Coral Springs, FL.

Earn $13.00 to $15.00 per hour at this full-time, permanent position. Work 40 plus hours per week on days that are to be determined and at various schedules as follows:

  • 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM
  • 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM
  • 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM

*  Candidates must have a flexible schedule

Job Description:

  • Answer incoming calls regarding technical questions and problem resolution related to Company products as well as customer equipment
  • Handle billing overflow calls
  • Work to minimize and/or reduce truck rolls
  • Offer Company products and services to meet customer needs
  • Exercise sound judgment within the scope of your empowerment and act in the best interest of both the customer and Company
  • Diagnose network and service issues, following them through to resolution and draw conclusions based on data, take-action consistent with facts, constraints and probable consequences
  • Recognize and consistently react to situations that require you to be proactive
  • Accurately assess and apply severity standards to network impairments and failures
  • Deliver consistent and superior customer experience
  • Keep leadership team aware of escalations and resolution status
  • Secure customer acknowledgement of resolution for escalated customer reported events
  • Demonstrate active listening skills
  • Ensure mutual understanding and effective communication of information
  • Represent the Company in a positive, professional manner
  • Minimize need for further customer escalation

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
  • 2 years' experience as a Technical Representative
  • Must have regular, consistent and punctual attendance
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, variable schedule(s) and mandatory overtime as business dictates   
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Must be able to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Be able to reach with hands and arms, bend, talk and hear and to read and use a computer
  • Be able to read, write and speak fluent English
  • Be able to use and manipulate objects such as paper, pencils, keyboards and mouse
  • Must be able to wear telephone head set for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be able to work while seated for prolonged periods of time
  • Knowledge and ability to use the following office equipment: computer, telephone, copier, fax, calculator and stapler
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Knowledge of common phone etiquette
  • Must have close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus    
  • Accurate and consistent ability to assess and make decisions with regard to resource prioritization
