Job Description

Executive Administrative Assistant

Our client, a leader in their industry and based in Mission Valley, is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to support the President & CEO. This will be 5-6 month temporary assignment full time for coverage of maternity leave. There is the potential of being extended as well.

As an Executive Assistant, you will need a minimum of a 4-year related degree or Administrative Assistant Certificate, minimum 5 years’ experience supporting C Level or Directors. However, the client will consider you have more than 10 years’ experience directly supporting an Executive or Directors directly without a degree or Certification.

Job Requirements

The primary minimum requirements are:

  • Complete knowledge of MS products including proficient in PowerPoint and advanced in the use of Excel
  • If you are fully able to work on a MAC that would be a major plus
  • Be Accurate with figures and manage multiple C Level calendars that can be quite detailed and be coordinated to ensure no conflicts of meetings or events.
  • Desire to handle a variety of clerical tasks for the CEO which will include report generation, data entry, filing and other administrative duties as required.

For the right candidate, we will be scheduling in-person interviews with the HR Director and CEO early to mid-June with an anticipated start date of 24 June for training with the current Executive Administrator.

This is a key position for our client, and will require someone who is professional, diligent, focused, confidential, very detail oriented and a team player.
