- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled residents
- Comply with current patient treatment plans initiated by the physician
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior promptly for assessment and treatment
- Communicate with LTC facility physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Educate CNA's about health maintenance and disease prevention
- Facilitate appointments, PT, and OT for residents
- Maintain accurate patient medical records daily
- Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
