Company Brief: We have been engaged by a long-standing client to identify account leaders for their USDA (Department of Agriculture) and their Veteran’s Affairs (VA) contracts and BPA’s. Reporting to an Operational VP, you will work with a team to expand their foot-print in the functional areas like Program Management, IT Modernization, and Digital Services.This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing firm with existing contracts and BPA’s and an excellent reputation.
Job Description: The USDA Account Lead will possess deep customer relationships, have an excellent understanding of USDA and the IT infrastructure of the major entities like AMS, ARS, Forest Service, FSIS, FNS or ERS. You will have a demonstrated track record of competitive wins on key development programs within USDA with particular expertise using GWACs, IDIQ’s or BPA contract vehicles.
The successful candidates will be familiar with the full capture process and have the ability to identify, track and win contracts and task orders as well as to carry a multi-million dollar per year quota. The primary expectations for Account Leader is: 1) deep customer relationships; 2) growth; 3) ability to oversee delivery contracts and manage employees.

Proven ability to win work at USDA or VA.
Exceptional client interaction and persuasion skills.
5 to 10 years or more experience successfully working in the target agencies.
BS/BA required, and an advanced degree preferred
