One of the largest staffing firms in the Houston area is seeking Recruiters with a minimum of 2 years experience. We offer a competitive base salary plus commission pay.
Location - We have 6 different locations in Houston, Conroe, Katy, and Stafford, TX area.
•Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives.
•Performs employee recruitment activity through individual networking, other employees and as company representative by participating in job fairs, career day activities, attending professional and trade associations, and arranging for advertising in publications favorable to recruiting qualified applicants.
•Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
•Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.
•Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
•Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules.
•Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
•Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.
•Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Must be able to work early or stay late when needed. Must be on call on the weekends and holidays.
Requirements: Skills/Qualifications: Phone Skills, Recruiting, Interviewing Skills, People Skills, Supports Diversity, Employment Law, Results Driven, Professionalism, Organization, Project Management, Judgment.
•Must be able to pass the background check and drug test.
•Must have reliable transportation.
•Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus, but not a requirement.
