Senior Software Project Manager

The Senior Manager will support several Task Orders on a large IDIQ contract with the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC).  Successful candidates will lead our software development projects, work with our customers to define requirements, and lead efforts to implement solutions for our customers. Primary duties will include performance, cost and schedule requirements, financial management to include resource management and redistribution of personnel; and staffing. The candidate will also be expected to participate in proposal activities and provide technical leadership to teams supporting software development efforts. Work location may be at NASIC facilities, Radiance offices, or a combination of both. Experience managing Agile teams is desired.


  • Monitors and Controls the successful execution of tasks on assigned task orders.
  • Directs project activities to meet customer requirements and organization work objectives and serves as a liaison with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems.
  • Assures quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, technical interchange meetings and site visits.
  • Performs business development activities, including the preparation and review of technical proposals.
  • Performs task order cost tracking and analysis.
  • Creates/Maintains the project schedule.
  • Coordinates and monitors sub-contractor activities and administers subcontractor deliverables and finances.
  • Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules and other program documents.
  • Prepares and provides various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant technical field.
  • Full understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of software development experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing software development efforts.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project scheduling tool.


Desired Qualifications:

  • PMP certification
  • EVMS experience
  • Prior knowledge of the National Air & Space Intelligence Center’s (NASIC) GEOINT/MASINT missions and its customer base. 
  • Experience with writing proposals and participating in capture planning activities.
  • TS/SCI or SCI eligibility a plus

Security Clearance:  TS/SCI or SCI eligibility required.
