Are you interested in a challenging position with a growing property management company?

RHP Properties is a growing, privately-held national Property Management Company.  Headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan, we own and operate over 254 manufactured home communities in 27 states.

We are presently seeking an individual who will assist the Human Resources Department with various aspects of daily operations.

As a successful Human Resources Assistant, you will:

  • Prepare, maintain, and organize employee files.
  • Provide backup assistance for the Front Desk Receptionist.
  • Perform out-of-office errands.
  • Refresh job postings.
  • Provide assistance to the recruiting team, as needed.
  • Perform general office duties.
  • Monitor and order all necessary office supplies on a weekly basis.
  • Provide backup assistance to the Office Coordinator.
  • Assist Human Resources Manager with various departmental projects.
  • Clean up and replenish the coffee break area at the end of each day.
  • Prepare bi-weekly Federal Express envelopes for payroll and ensure correct completion of airbills.  
  • Track Federal Express payroll shipments, provide delivery confirmation to the sender and obtain credits when necessary.
  • Departmental filing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of administrative experience required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; some college course work in the field of Human Resources preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and secure information.
  • Proficiency with computers including the Internet and Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Favorable driving record and a valid operator’s license.                                                                             
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service focus.
  • Professional telephone skills.
  • Ability to operate multiple line telephone system.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to multitask and be a team player in a fast-paced environment.
