Federal Sales Director

Greenlight Professional Services REMOTE Full-Time
$85,000.00 - $94,999.00 / year

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Serve as a key member of the Federal Sales Team - grow current accounts, identify prospects, diagnose needs, prescribe solutions, negotiate, and problem solve to build and meet Government customers’ demand for company products.

·         Identify, engage and close business within DOD and other Federal agencies.

·         Position yourself as an industry leader by understanding customer needs and helping them drive value from BK.

·         Set a strategic sales plan for your target markets and ensure it's in line with strategic direction.

·         Collaborate with internal departments and peers (e.g., business operations, order entry, marketing, engineering, and customer service) to provide a use case and product feedback, develop fresh approaches, understand winning strategies, and develop successful sales models.

·         Understand the technical considerations, contracting requirements, and certifications specific to the US Federal Government.

 

Knowledge & Skills:

·         Strong Excel, Access, MS Word, PowerPoint, skills required

·         Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills

·         Good analytical skills

·         Very detail-oriented, accurate and organized

·         Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

·         Able to work independently and as part of a team

·         Confidentiality and Time Management

 

Qualifications:

·         Education Required:  Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

·         Experience Required:  5+ years selling public safety or critical communication hardware into Federal Agencies.  DOD experience a plus

  • FEDERAL SALES DIRECTOR  (Salary 85K-90k plus commission)    
  • REMOTE w/ extensive travel
    • All candidates should reside in the DC, Maryland, Northern VA area
