Our Client is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Miami, FL.


Earn $17.00 to $18.00 per hour at this full-time, temp-to-hire position. Work 40 hours per week at these various schedules:

  • 1st shift: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • 2nd shift: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
  • 3rd shift: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM

This position is on a fixed schedule with no weekends off.


Job Description:


  • Perform general building repairs including electrical, drywall and carpentry, painting and lighting 
  • Perform routine plumbing repairs such as unstopping toilets, sinks and urinals and fixing water leaks including auto fixture repair and water fountains
  • Perform routine electrical repairs including changing light bulbs, converting fluorescent lamps to LED and troubleshooting/replacing non-working light fixtures 
  • Repair and replace door knobs and locks, repair door closures and patch holes in walls and paver repairs (flooring)
  • Paint interior and exterior walls to include pressure cleaning and necessary preparation

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
  • 2 years' experience in Maintenance
  • Must be able to operate a Scissor Lift
  • Must be able to identify problems and repair them accordingly
  • Must speak fluent English
  • Must understand schematics
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Successfully pass a criminal background check
  • Successfully pass a drug screen
