We are currently looking for a Customer Service Representatives to join us as we grow and expand our team in Shepherdsville, KY.

McKesson Medical-Surgical provides medical-surgical supplies and equipment to physicians' offices, home care agencies, long-term care facilities, and surgery centers. Our catalog includes more than 150,000 national brand products from bandages to exam tables, plus McKesson's own line of high-quality medical-surgical products.

Position Description:

  • You will respond to basic customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and backorder, invoices, Pod’s and providing options in a timely and professional manner
  • You will be responsible for addressing the needs of McKesson customers and company representatives
  • You will respond to inbound calls and order entry
  • Facilitating ease of communication with customers through genuine connection, solutions-focused approach, and an efficient problem-solving mentality.
  • Proactively educates customers on products and services available to them.
  • Research and processes credit to customers for stocked returns, damages, and other issues
  • Adhere to correct procedures and compliance guidelines (i.e., hazardous materials, cold chain compliance, pedigree) 
  • You will manage customer and product data within the system
  • Takes on special projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Desire to help others and solve problems
  • General knowledge of customer service processes and procedures
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic environment and navigate complexity and change
  • Professional written and verbal communication

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Must have experience in pharmaceutical and distribution
  • At least 2 years in using SAP systems
  • Advanced with MS Office

  • Keyboarding at medium proficiency level – large percent of time performing computer-based work

  • Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving skills



Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:30am- 5:00pm

Need to be flexible to work an 8-hour shift between the hours of 6:00 am-6:00 pm and weekends, if needed.
