Position Title:   Counter Sales I Associate

Reports to: Customer Support Manager

Location: Cinnaminson, NJ

Role:

This is a full-time Customer Service position responsible for fulfilling customer parts orders and providing the installation and assembly team with the correct parts and equipment in a timely and consistent manner.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

§  Provide outstanding customer service

§  Assist Parts Manager to ensure appropriate parts inventory levels are maintained

§  Manages the customer parts order process and resolves any order discrepancies in a timely manner

§  Administer customer warranty parts return and process all required invoices and paperwork

§  Prepare and ship customer orders, ensuring order accuracy at all times

§  Interface with the engineering and operations departments

§  Develop efficient processes and procedures by supporting a lean culture and process improvement initiatives

§  Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

§  Help maintain an accurate inventory and assist during physical inventory counts

§  Process all inbounds product leads

Working Conditions:

Employee will work in a parts counter/sales counter environment with exposure to a manufacturing shop environment where they will be exposed to moving equipment, fumes, loud noise, and fluctuating temperature. Must be able to wear required PPE and must be comfortable in a fast pace, continuously changing environment

Knowledge & Skills:

§  Basic knowledge and understanding of truck equipment and/or automotive industry parts sales and service

§  Ability to provide superior customer service

§  Organized, detail orientated, and, skilled at following up and following through

§  Possess problem-solving ability

§  Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, Bill of Materials and other production related documentation

§  Knowledge and ability to improve processes and metrics related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC)

§  Proficiency using a computer and related software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook and CRM programs (e.g. Sales Force ) is a plus

§  Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills

Education and Work Experience:

EDUCATION:  High School graduate at a minimum

EXPERIENCE:   Experience in truck equipment and/or automotive industry parts sales and service, with exposure to shop floor processes is preferred. Experience working in a team environment. Experience working on a remote team preferred.

 

  • Handle incoming customer service calls

  • Maintain customer service voicemail and return customer calls
  • Provide customers with superior customer service
  • Provide customer service for internal customers
  • Capturing customer information and answering customer inquiries
  • Resolve inbound customer calls regarding account
  • Take customer orders and provide high-quality customer service
  • Make out going customer service calls
  • Work with customer service manager to ensure proper customer service
  • Resolve any customer service issues
  • Answering inbound calls and providing excellent customer service
  • Provide customer support and handling customer inquiries
  • Combining excellent customer service skills
  • Assure quality customer service to all customers
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
  • Provide superior customer service with all customer interactions
