Commitment Level:  40 hours per week, on-site, contract through May 2020

We are seeking a Program Manager on a 6-month contract basis with join the GBG Strategic Programs team. You will use your business acumen, exceptional project management, communication and problem-solving skills to support these initiatives.


What you’ll do:

• Responsible for overseeing programs - sets of large, time-consuming projects which require detailed analysis and care - within a company, as well as prioritizing projects and delegating responsibilities to members of the project team.
• Interview and hire the best candidates for each project. Work with several clients and maintain constant communication.
• Meet with clients regularly and provide project reports and updates to ensure that everything is running smoothly.
• Meet regularly with the project team to discuss solutions and may also provide assignments for each team member to keep everyone focused on the overall project.
• Highly knowledgeable of information technology (IT) and business practices for success, and creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
• Oversee direction, training, mentoring, and management of staff.
• Track and report on team progress and determine key milestones.
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth and to enhance the organization's competitive position.
• Coordinate with other departments or members in the organization to achieve specified goals.
• Build rapport and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Managing strategic programs and projects to help GBG achieve our goals. These initiatives are often prioritized directly by GBG executives and are not tied to core sales enablement efforts.
• Communicating to the GBG team on program progress, insights, recommendations and driving the decision-making process.
• Implementing scaled communication plans to drive awareness and adoption of programs in a way that reflects a balance between global and regional needs and optimize for better sharing and transparency.
• Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment and strategic decision-making on behalf of GBG. This person will deeply understand the needs of our business entirely so they can represent a unified GBG perspective and help to reduce friction and duplication from our internal processes.
• Measuring success for all scaled programs and initiatives. You will be responsible for tracking quantitative and qualitative KPIs on all programs.


Must Haves:
• 5+ years professional experience in marketing, media or consulting
• Exceptional project management, prioritization, and organizational skills
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience speaking in front of large audiences with authority
• Proven track record of working with stakeholders across all levels of the organization
• Experience tracking KPIs and delivering high-quality results in a rapidly changing business environment
• Experience collecting and analyzing small to medium sized data sets
• Mastery in developing presentations and visual story telling
• Mastery in PowerPoint and Excel, or equivalent


Education: BA/BS degree in a related field


Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week. This position is located onsite at our Customer’s New York, NY location. There is no remote capability for this role.
