Berry It is a growing company looking for an Entry Level Electrician's Assistant. This individual will assist the current Electrician with projects such as install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes. Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
Entry Level experience in electrician's work is a must. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things. Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources. Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
