Customer Service Representative – Security Health Plan

Security Health Plan serves more than 225,000 people in a 40-county area in northern, western and central Wisconsin. We offer a variety of health insurance options for employer groups, individuals of all ages, and families of various income levels.


The Customer Service Representative SHP primary responsibility is to ensure positive customer interacts with Security Health Plan’s customers. The individual will interact with members, applicants, providers, and agents via telephone, fax, email, or in person, with the majority of contact conducted over the telephone. The Customer Service RepresentativeSHP will identify the customer’s concern and appropriately research and resolve the inquiry in a timely manner; this may include forwarding the request as applicable.


Sunday-Saturday; 7:00am - 8:00pm (8-hr shift during this time frame) Positions available until 3/31/20

·      High school diploma or equivalent

·      Two years of experience with customer service

·      Demonstrated proficiency with handling high-pressure situations

·      Demonstrated professional verbal and written communication skills

·      Experience working in a health insurance call center preferred

·      State of Wisconsin Insurance Agent’s license preferred
