**The salary range for this role is $80,000-$110,000 and will commensurate with experience**

Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Marketing will oversee the development and implementation of all strategic marketing initiatives for the company along with brand and product development for all educational programming. The Director of Marketing must have a strong focus on inclusive digital marketing practices and eCommerce, at the strategic and tactical levels, collaborating with the other team members of the company and clients.

The position requires an ability to analyze business and communications objectives and develop equitable and comprehensive strategies to achieve them. Candidates for this position must be able to show active and deep connections to the communities in which they work. Prior agency experience preferred.


Duties and Responsibilities:
● Create, implement and measure comprehensive marketing, communications, and PR programs that will enhance the brand's image and position within the marketplace
● Ensure relevant market research efforts (qualitative & quantitative) are conducted
● Partner with all departments to develop and implement marketing and cause campaigns, presentations, promotions, event materials, and product packaging, and support on the promotion/launch of existing and new products; evaluate their effectiveness
● Develop messaging, timing, packaging and plan for new product releases
● Oversee attendance and activations at functions such as industry events
● Manage trademark and copyright portfolio
● Oversee the editorial direction, design, and production of all publications
● Monitor industry trends, and trends among peer set organizations
● Select and manage supporting agencies including Advertising, Public Relations, Market Research, and Social Media
● Manage the marketing budget and measure the ROI
● Manage and mentor marketing team
● Assist the CEO with the discovery and pursuit of business development opportunities
● Generate a positive team climate that inspires others to excel
● Lead brainstorms, contribute big ideas, collaborate with team members to deliver a successful project


Requirements:
A strong background across both Product Promotion and inclusive Digital Marketing
A high level of analytical and creative skills that can be translated into strategic development initiatives
Excel at the design and execution of marketing, communications and PR initiatives
Robust eCommerce experience
Thrive working with shared leadership and in smaller, cross-functional teams
A strong communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills
