Earthcore Industries LLC/Isokern is the pioneer in modular masonry fireplace and chimney design. We are a nationwide manufacturer and distributor of the finest hearth products available to the custom building community. 

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Rep for our Chesapeake VA location.


Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:


This position will be the front line of support for customers and will help ensure that customers are satisfied with our products & services


  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Communicating with customers through various channels.
  • Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
  • Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions.
  • Knowing our manuals and technical guides inside and out so you can answer questions
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, comments and complaints.
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
  • Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
  • Lead Qualification Strategy
  • Thoroughly vet prospective customers to determine the best service strategy for their specific needs
  • Properly distribute leads to the appropriate service entity for follow-up (i.e. dealers, company locations, and Earthcore National) to maximize sales potential.”

Customer Service Representative Requirements:


  • General education degree or equivalent.
  • Construction knowledge preferred and helpful
  • Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
  • Computer literate, Word, Excel experience
  • Experience working with customer support
  • Patience in dealing with confused or irate customers.
  • Problem-solving skills, and the ability to think under pressure.
  • Commitment to continual education about the company, products and services.
