Job Requirements

  • Supervise children ages 6 months
  • Welcome children, perform leisure activities and games, and ensure children behave well when in contact with other children
  • Provide friendly atmosphere for parents and children
  • Maintain calm and organization amongst child and/or children
  • Instruct children in practices of cleanliness and self-care
  • Check in/check-out of children & parents
  • Cleaning and sanitizing child care toys
  • Designed around the developmental needs of children
  • Assist in preparing food for children and serve meals and refreshments to children and regulate rest periods
  • Nurture and care for children while parents are participating in activities at Dahlia Campus
  • Maintain a safe environment as well as be interactive with all children
  • Prepare food for the children at the center
  • Supervise children while are playing outside on a playground
  • Experienced in providing care for children and babies from 6 months through 11 years of age
  • Drop off children according to an assigned transportation route
  • Utilizing childcare oreducation background to inspire the children in centers or know of someoneelse
  • Caring and nurturing children to provide with a great start
  • Utilizing childcare or education background to inspire the children in centers or know of someone
  • Transport children or special clients to and from the center
  • Prepare meals and snacks for the children enrolled in the Center ensuring that meals and snacks are ready at scheduled times

StreetLightUSA is a Christ-Centered organization who serves adolescent girls age 13-17 who are victims of child sex trafficking and sexual trauma. Served victims are members of Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) custody, private placements and those within the Arizona Foster Care System (AZ QFCO). The basic instinct shared by victims of child sex trafficking is "fight or flight". She runs from her emotions of fear, disappointment, shame, deceit, loss, addiction and loneliness; a teen ill-equipped to cope with the complex trauma she has experienced. The StreetLightUSA direct care team helps girls find their "fight" through multi-layered crisis intervention programs.

Shift Hours

Scheduled Days May Vary Based on Availability

5am-130pm

1pm-930pm

3pm-10pm

9pm-530am


Required Qualifications, Clearances, and Experience

  • Education Minimum: High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent
  • Associate Degree of Higher in Related Field of Social Service Preferred
  • One (1) year or More of Experience Working Directly with At-Risk-Youth, Child Care, Group Home, or Child Required
  • Experience as a Behavioral Health Tech, Behavioral Health Paraprofessional, or Within a Teen Treatment Center Preferred
  • AZ Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card Required
  • Valid Driver's License with Acceptable Driving History Required
  • Pediatric CPR and First Aid Preferred
  • CPI, CIT, or Prevention and Support Certification Preferred
  • Food Handler's Card Preferred
  • Minimum Age: 23 years old
  • Bona-fide Occupational Qualification: Female
