We are looking for a detail oriented person to help in our recruiting department. We would like for this person to work well with others and have a positive attitude.

Job Responsibilities:

•Create a database of qualified candidates

•Keep track of the availability of each candidate

•Match the right candidate to the right position

•Interview candidates & offer a job to qualified candidates

•Motivate & discipline candidates when necessary

•Answer phones & be able to assist customers and candidates

•Do background & reference checks

•Developing job descriptions, offering jobs, and answering any questions that may arise.

•Assist individuals in search of employment with applications, questions, concerns and job inquiries.

•Follow up with applicants ensuring compliance with attendance and investigating the job fit for both company and employee.

•Making phone calls towards companies to inquire about open job positions as wells as to update them about a possible applicants

Job Requirements:

•Must Pass E-Verify/Background Check

•Must be consistently punctual

•Must have Excellent Customer Service Experience

•Must handle and keep an inventory of construction and personal protective equipment

•Maintain a clean work area

•Must have a sense of urgency to get things done

•Must be flexible, open-minded to face new tasks & challenges

•Must be self-aware, accepting responsibility for mistakes

Must be able to work on a computer with Microsoft/Excel and Email

  • Planning throughout the recruitment process
  • Deliver an exceptional recruitment service to all clients and candidates
  • Arrange interviews and prepare candidates
  • Sourcing own candidates and clients
  • Pass along candidates to hiring managers
  • Searching talent pool for suitable candidates
  • Showcase the talent of candidates
  • Selecting candidates from job boards, for departmental vacancies and directly contacting the suitable candidates, using the company recruitment process
  • Coordinate the apprenticeship recruitment process
  • Shortlisting prospective candidates for interview
  • Face interviewing of candidates for client vacancies
  • Sending job specs to candidates
  • Communicating directly with hiring managers about recruitment needs
  • Deliver for both candidates and clients
  • Attract and identify suitable candidates
  • Placing and preparing candidates for interviews
  • Understand staffing needs and deliver qualified candidates
  • Execute projects to improve staffing processes
  • Ensure superior staffing service to clients
  • Provide customer support for routine staffing questions
  • Serving as a business partner to hiring managers for developing staffing strategies, and understanding staffing levels and requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with internal and external staffing audit requirements
  • Recruiting best practices and familiarity of the staffing industry
  • Assess candidates fit to role
  • Ensure candidates are immediately processed
  • Communicate candidates' qualifications to customers
  • Reach out to and recruit candidates
  • Maintaining a positive and successful relationship with customers in solving staffing situations

  • Provide limited or routine answers to customers and applicants on staffing process
  • Elevating the effectiveness of co-worker scheduling and staffing within the ministry

  • Explore various tools to recruit quality candidates
  • Recruiting and placing candidates to corporate clients
