Allied Resources has an immediate need for a Project Engineer who will be responsible for working with an innovative energy company in the Northern New Jersey area. This position provides a stable backlog of projects and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, discount programs, etc.
A Day in the Life
Work as a Project Engineer to define the scope, schedule, and budget for mechanical projects including rotating equipment, pumps, and seals.
Oversee the lifecycle of projects through detailed design and developing execution plans while achieving stated goals.
Prepare system designs, status reports and layouts to support project expectations.
Evaluate, recommend, and select new technologies based on application to enhance and upgrade systems throughout each project.
Analyzes operating plant problems or equipment failures and provides corrective changes.
Provide occasional technical assistance and liaison to other plant locations as needed.
The Wish List
At least 5 years’ experience with engineering duties on multiple simultaneous small to medium sized capital projects.
Plant-based experience highly preferred.
Excellent verbal, written communication, and organizational skills.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
