HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT
Become right hand to HR Director of large human resources department. Assist 3 HR Generalists and Safety team with everything from on-boarding, drug tests, background checks, documentation of injured employees to administration of our HRIS system. Help run the office, ordering supplies, assist with activity-flow, making copies, verifying employment. Lots of documentation, paperwork, data entry for multiple outsourced Clients into our computer system. Will learn our HRIS system inside and out; ultimately instruct Client and employees how to access their records in person and over the phone.
Job can advance to position as HR Business Adviser, visiting local clients and providing HR guidance, training and consultation; conducting investigations, employee grievance issues (and more). Lots of face-to-face and telephonic contact with our important Client Employers. Advancement depends on your individual drive and determination to learn HR the right way, plus your knowledge and implementation of employment & labor laws, employee policies and procedures and your ability to work one-on-one with important and demanding clients.
Must have:
· 3+ years’ experience working in an HR Department as an HR Assistant or Generalist (or less experience if you are SHRM certified);
· Professional, well-groomed appearance and Charismatic people skills;
· Must have a well rounded knowledge of HR / employment terminology;
· Outstanding computer skills;
