Job Description

$3,500-$5,000 Sign on Bonus!

Direct Hire 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts

Hourly base rates $25-29/hr

Tons of overtime, and Shift Differential

Four years of skilled maintenance/machine setup experience.

  • Knowledgeable in different controllers (i.e. Fanuc, Siemans).

  • Experience with manual and automated CNC Machining.

  • Able to read and understand all codes and regulations (H&S, Electrical).Interpret and review schematic drawings of mechanical, structural, pneumatic and hydraulic systems to understand their operation and identify malfunctions.

  • Use specialized measuring tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, angle finders, feeler gauges and dial indicators.

  • Evaluate condition of parts and equipment. Evaluate performance of major systems and plant equipment. Assess feasibility of designs for small modifications to equipment and machinery, sometimes in collaboration with co-workers and supervisors.

  • Discuss work orders, equipment malfunctions and job task coordination with co-workers. Inform supervisors about work progress and seek guidance and approvals from them. Teach practices and procedures to co-workers, apprentices and clients.

  • Perform tasks independently under limited supervision. Also form teams with co-workers when necessary to install and overhaul larger pieces of equipment and complete industrial systems. Supervise and train apprentices and maintenance laborers.

Job Requirements

5+ years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Electrician in a production environment
Experience in both Electrical AND Mechanical Maintenance
Must have knowledge of 480 Volt 3 Phase distribution systems.
Must have knowledge of industrial electrical/equipment installations.
Ability to diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical problems that arise.
Must be able to troubleshoot AC and DC drives and control systems.
Must be familiar with PLC controls. PLC programming skills a plus.
Possess a working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
