The Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Field Technician II would be responsible for assisting with the installation, implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of various two-way radio systems and solutions.
Troubleshoot and repair a variety of systems/products (two-way radios, repeaters, networked systems, Mobile radio, mobile radio installations, emergency alert systems, and a range of custom solutions)
Install, repair, program, align, and maintain existing and future communications systems and equipment and assist in system design
Document customer information, details of work performed, hours worked, parts used, specific instruction from the customer, etc.
Complete routine work tickets and warranty paperwork in a timely fashion
Responsible for accurate and timely reporting in time tracking systems each week
Commercial, Motorola PCR Product Line experience
Installation of infrastructure; antennas, cables, repeaters, etc.
Possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record
4+ years Field Technician experience
Skilled in the use of product-specific tools and software to perform basic configuration and testing, both pre- and post-installation
Ability and availability to participate in 24-hour on-call customer maintenance contract program
CET Associates Certification within 12 months of hire- Preferred
