The Company:

·         Client provides data services and end-to-end data solutions to customers serving the global travel industry. We have established a leadership position as a provider of real-time global aviation information, serving airlines and airports, travel agencies, developers, consumers, and more.

·         This is an exciting time at Client’s company, as we are beginning to leverage data sets from different parts of the business, by fusing them together to form interesting, new data sets and ultimately result in products that are unique and incredibly valuable to our customers. We work in an agile, product-focused environment, and we are well positioned for future growth.

The Position:

·         Client is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join our Client’s Labs squad. This squad is responsible for building and maintaining both a growing suite of small full-stack applications showcasing use cases for our extensive data footprint and our in-house design system. The co-located, cross-functional Client Labs squad includes members from product and user experience, as well as quality, site reliability and software engineering. As a member of this team you will join a fast-moving group working towards launching this exciting new product!

Requirements:

·         Technical - Applicants should:

·         Have at least 5 years of professional development experience.

·         Be proficient in Javascript/Typescript and experienced with React.

·         Write clean, logical, high-quality code and adopt test-driven development and Agile practices.

·         Have a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or professional industry experience.

·         Have a strong grasp of computer science fundamentals.

·         Personal - All Client’s developers must have:

·         The ability to be self-managing and self-directed.

·         Curiosity and a love of learning.

·         Passion for the craft of development.

·         Strong communication skills.

·         A collaborative, team-oriented approach.
