Experience we are looking for:
- Government/DOD purchasing experience is required
- Electronics and electro-mechanical components and subassemblies
- Government/DOD related sub-contract program management, FAR/DFAR compliance
- Read and understand blueprints and specifications
- ERP/MRP
- Advanced Excel
- Negotiating pricing and lead time
- Aerospace preferred
Position Summary:
Quote and procure electronic and electro-mechanical components and subassemblies
Interpret MRP, determine delivery schedules, and maintain inventory levels and cash flow
Read drawings, specifications and customer contracts to ensure order requirements are properly captured and flow down.
Review, analyze, and manage purchase orders, subcontract agreements, terms and conditions
Manage purchase orders and subcontract performance
Bidding and analysis of supplier quotations
Negotiation
Onboard new suppliers and maintain approved status
