Job Description

Upper Bay Counseling & Support Services, Inc. (UBCSS) is seeking a part time PRP/TAY Counselor to provide supportive, individualized psychiatric rehabilitation services for children ages 6-24 y/o.  Services can be provided onsite or in the community. Services are mostly after school and sometimes on weekends. The TAY services includes but are not limited to assisting with learning/practicing independent living skills, assisting with furthering education, finding employment, and improving socialization. The counselor will work within a multidisciplinary team to assess client needs, develop professional and flexible ways to meet client needs, and implement interventions to assist participants in achieving their individualized rehabilitation goals.

Job Requirements

The position requires an Associate’s degree.  Bachelor’s degree in the Human Services field preferred.  Valid driver’s license required. Experience in the healthcare or educational environment is preferred.
