A large healthcare company seeks a Senior Accountant. The said individual will be responsible for performing month-end calculations, the preparation of financial reports, reviewing general ledger accounts, preparing and adjusting journal entries. Perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts. Posts monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals. Performs ad hoc projects. This organization offers a tremendous work-life balance and benefits package. Currently working off-site due to Covid-19.
Responsibilities:
- Revenue Recognition
- Perform month-end
- Preparation of financial reports
- Prepares journal entries
- Prepares reconciliations
- Financial analysis and variance reporting
- Working on team-based projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong Revenue recognition experience
- Strong Financial Statement experience
- Medicaid financial and state regulatory reporting experience a plus
- Strong Excel skills
- SQL, Access experience a plus
- Strong communication skills
