Summary/Objective Administer the mobile devices (smartphones, tablets etc.) of the agency to include replacements, updates, configurations etc.
Essential Job Duties Lead all adds/moves/changes/disposals of mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, etc) for the agency, including inventory records and tracking. Lead all adds/moves/changes of cellular plans and features for the agency. Designs hardware, software, and security standards, policy, and solutions for all mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, etc) agency-wide including security standards for mobile application development projects. Development and upkeep of a 2-3 year mobile roadmap for the Department. Serve as the mobile device subject matter expert on all procurement and bid projects agency-wide, for mobile security, and assists with mobile device subjects related to agency mobile application development projects.

Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Business or closely related field. Must maintain a valid, current driver’s license. At least three (3) years of progressively responsible professional experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to accept change and new information and cope with job pressure and stress. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with Department personnel and the general public. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with members of all types of groups, Department staff and the general public. Ability to keep focused on understanding, anticipating and responding to the needs of customers. Ability to make independent decisions and act quickly and decisively on the determined course of action. Ability to work effectively as a team member and assist in resolving conflicts. Develop and sustain cooperative working relationships. Knowledge in the design and implementation of software or hardware solutions, systems, or products.
Work Environment Regularly work in a standard office environment.
Physical Abilities Remain stationary up to 70% of the time. Regularly communicate and exchange accurate information. Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery. Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. Regularly lift up to 5 pounds. Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.
