Our Expanding Multi-Practice Medical Group is seeking candidates for a Medical Office Practice Managerto ensure that the overall business operations of a multi-site medical practice.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Hire and train administrative staff
Monitor and evaluate staff performance
Schedule staff to meet operational requirements
Establish office policies and procedures
Monitor office policies and procedures
Responsible for facility cleaning, hygiene, safety and maintenance
Control removal of medical waste in compliance with regulatory requirements
Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations, medical laws and ethics
Keep track of equipment and devices and manage inventory
Act as a liaison with vendors regarding equipment and supplies
Ensure patient records are current and accurate
Supervise patient scheduling
Oversee registration of patients
Supervise medical coding, medical billing and banking
Provide education material to patients
Communicate with patients regarding inquiries and complaints
Ensure patient satisfaction
Medical Office Practice Manager
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree a plus with a minimum of 10 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Knowledge of accounting, data, administrative processes and principles
Prior experience with managing a large group of 40+ employees a must!
Knowledge of human resource management principles and practices
Knowledge of medical coding
Knowledge of medical issues and terminology
Knowledge of applicable regulations and state and federal laws
Computer skills including knowledge of relevant software
