Pafford Endodontics, the dental specialty practice of Dr. Jeffrey B. Pafford is seeking a personable and strong multi-tasker to manage administrative processes in the front desk/reception area of the office. The ideal candidate must enjoy interacting with people and the “hands-on” details that begin on the phone, continue when greeting the patient at check-in, and finish when the patient’s appointment is completed.

No prior dental experience? No problem. Our close-knit team will provide training to the “best-fit” candidate.

Responsibilities include managing multi-line phone system, new patient registration, greeting patients, updating records, correspondences with referring offices, answering routine patient questions, explaining payment protocols, assembling reports, notifying clinical team of patient readiness, and getting to know our referring doctor practices to provide world-class support through our services.

Criteria to be considered eligible to apply to this position includes:

Stable work history and excellent references

Prior administrative and customer service experience

Excellent voice tone, writing and speaking skills

Ability to prioritize and manage various multi-tasking processes (such as answering the phone, scheduling and noting patient arrival) in a timely and accurate manner with the “face of calm”

Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, English, Business Management, Public Relations, Sociology, or Psychology is preferred, but not required to apply. Equivalent skills gained through quality work experiences will qualify the right candidate.
